Eric Dahlin has been a pillar of the Connecticut musical community, as cellist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra for 37 years and as a teacher to many generations of young cellists. His contributions to the Simsbury Schools was a gift to all who knew him.
Simsbury Friends for Music and Performing Arts has set up a merit scholarship to be awarded to senior music students at the Spring Awards Program. Your donation will go directly to this fund. Students will be chosen based on merit and their contributions to the Simsbury Music Department.

Alice and her family are overwhelmed by the outpouring of kindness and love from all the supporters, even many who remain anonymous. The March 1st Benefit Concert generated over $13,000 from tickets, food and bake sales, well-wish cards and donations on GoFundMe. Alice Li was about to start her junior year and was looking forward to being a member of the chamber orchestra and taking on AP English. But the weekend before the first day of class, Alice suddenly suffered a brain hemmorhage and faced a dire prognosis.
