There will be two great opportunities for my students to see some quality double bass performances in the near future! On Monday April 21st, the Hartt School's double bass studio will be performing a recital. This will be a great chance to see many different bassists perform solo works. The next night, on April 22nd, is a performance by the Hartt School's Double Bass Ensemble. This performance will show you the power of basses in numbers! Many different compositions will be performed by various groups of double bassists, including an Western style bass stand-off, and a game of bass bingo. (I also understand that there will be prizes!) Both performances are at 7:30 at the Hartt School of Music. |
